Dear Polly Butte Family,

Help from Anza Electrical Cooperative arrived as soon as IERBC put out the alert help was needed. Polly Butte Networks will Rise Again from the devastating Fairview Fire.

As Soon as Kevin Short, General Manager, Anza Electrical Cooperative, received IERBC’s alert that neighboring Internet Provider, Polly Butte Networks, was wiped out by the Fairview Fire in rural Hemet, Riverside County—He immediately took action.

Kevin Short told us, “This terrible tragedy underscores the Seventh Cooperative Principle, “Concern for Community.”

Kevin added, “Anza Electric’s commitment to our community extends far beyond our cooperative family and our members, and we recognize that we have a responsibility to the greater community that we live in.”

On Tuesday, September 13th, Kevin Short and Shawn Trento, Anza Electrical Cooperative’s Telecommunication Manager, conferred with Dean Henningsen, CEO, of Polly Butte Networks and identified that Pole restoration on Polly Butte Peak was the first step to getting the internet back up.

Yesterday, September 14th, Anza Electric Cooperative jumped into action with material and crew, and the Poles have Risen!!

IERBC is continuing to help find federal and state resources to ensure Polly Butte Networks is fully restored for the Fairview Fire community.

Polly Butte Networks immediate goal is to deliver 120mb service to our loyal customers. Our whole network will be upgraded to Gigabit Speeds.

Equipment for sectors is still on its way and should arrive Wednesday. We will keep you further updated.
